This tapestry is created using mixed textile techniques, completed in 2025. *'The Gold of Black Thoughts'* is not merely a female portrait but an emotional self-portrait. The work emerged during a pivotal moment—when my children left for studies, far from home. It was my way of shaping the longing, worries, and anxieties a mother feels when her own children begin their journey. The tangled hair represents the black thoughts, fears, and questions that accumulate beyond my control. In contrast, the woman’s face appears serene, almost at peace.
