Image licences
Every artwork image on Vernissaria is published under one of the following licences, chosen by the artist. The licence is displayed below each image.
Two layers of rights
By uploading, every artist grants Vernissaria a non-exclusive right to display, resize, and reproduce the image across the platform (the platform grant). This is separate from the public licence below — which governs what you, as a visitor or collector, may do with the image.
You may view the work on Vernissaria. No download, reproduction, or sharing is permitted. Copyright remains with the artist.
You may share the image non-commercially (e.g. on social media) provided you credit the artist visibly and link back to this page. No derivatives. No commercial use. This licence is revocable — the artist may change it at any time.
This is Vernissaria's own licence, not a Creative Commons licence. It is intentionally revocable so artists retain control over sold or withdrawn works.
You may share the image with attribution, for non-commercial purposes only, without modifications. See the full licence text at creativecommons.org.
Creative Commons licences are irrevocable. Once granted, the artist cannot take it back.
The artist has waived all copyright. You may use, adapt, and build upon this image for any purpose, including commercially, without asking permission.
CC0 is irrevocable.
